We had a couple of shelves cut in our pantry and hung up my tanjore painting on the wall. It sits comfortably on the bottom shelf and I still have 3 shelves below that to keep the puja stuff in.
Here is the final result.

The mandap was also built by the same artist - it came together as one piece. You can order that way and have any design you want - you can even add the hanging bells if you'd like.
